    2013 Projections!

This is solely based on who is on the roster as of today, and the internal options. Project overall season stats, who will be all-stars, and whatever else stat you feel. I'll start it off.

    Lineup

    Simmons - .280/.335/.425 6 Hr's, 55 Rbi's, 15 stolen bases. GG, All-star
    Prado - .305/.360/.440 12 Hr's 62 Rbi's, 19 SB's. All-star 3B.
    Heyward- .285/.350/.525 31 Hr's 103 Rbi's 32 SB's. All-star, GG, MVP candidate, SS
    Freeman - .279/.330/.460 25 Hr's 90 Rbi's Silver slugger
    Upton- .265/.325/.470 26 Hr's 85 Rbi's 35 SB's
    McCann .270/.340/.465 22 Hr's 82 Rbi's All star
    Uggla- .250/.350/.485 33 Hr's 80 Rbi's
    Platoon- .270/.330/.435 17 Hr's 64 Rbi's

    Rotation

    Medlen 3.15 ERA
    Minor 3.35 ERA
    Hudson 3.50 ERA
    Maholm 3.45 ERA
    Teheran 3.20 ERA/Beachy 3.30 ERA

Of course some of these numbers are generous. If we can get anywhere near these numbers, we would be NL east champs for sure lol. Alot of this is based on players getting better, healthier, entering their prime..etc. Feel free to comment, or make your own projections.

Honestly, the thing that caught me off guard the most was All-Star next to Andrelton. I thought about it for a second and realized how weak the SS position is and that he has a pretty solid chance.

Still though, enough top guys to get the votes over the new comer. Rollins, Reyes, Tulo.

The projections for Simmons and Uggla seem a bit inflated, but I think you're close on the others. Although, I think Freeman may push a .315+ average. Minor's ERA is a bit low, simply b/c of his fly/ground ratio. Maholm's #s should be a bit higher, but not by much. Also, expect the 5th starter's #s to be good bit higher unless they have a breakthrough.

I'll post my predictions later, west side. But my first thoughts of your's is.......
    1) Upton likely splits the lefty's, if he's not in the 2 hole.
    2) Going to go a little higher on the steals for Simmons.
    3) A little higher on the BA for Freeman.

But I do like the numbers you posted!

Avg. Little high for Simmons. I would guess somewhere in the .270s.
ERA little high for Minor. I think he'll be in the .330s. Everything else I like.

I think that's a little hopeful for Minor. His second half from last year was pretty lucky.

Reyes is in the AL now and Simmons could still be a reserve, but with his dazzling defense and his somewhat surprising bat, i could see him getting some votes. Elvis Andrus is a pretty similar player to simmons, But i think simmons could be better than him, and he was an all star. But hey, we'll know in the seson.

Why thank you sir. Again these are generous numbers and are based on what players will bounce back, and who will get better ...etc. Oh and i agree on freeman, i just wanted to shoot some jumpoff numbers.

I could see Schafer getting some.action. Depends on his ST.
    .245/.305/.390 10 SB's, 4 HR's. Could be a good line for him.
