I'm sorry....where is there any controversy here? The back-up QB has declared that in light of the starter's injury, he deserves to start? Whats the problem? Should he have declared that he has no right to be in the league, let alone starting?

And maybe, just maybe, Leinart has a better grasp on Pryor's intangibles than we do. Maybe Leinart really does deserve to start.

No controversy, just posting an article for discussion. Aside from that I don't think based on any of his play last game or previous years elsewhere he deserves to start anywhere. Maybe if he were truthful with himself he would have declared that he has no right to be in this league. (You will have to excuse me, I love USC and had high hopes for Leinart when he came into the league, but he sucks, like most other USC QB's, Palmer being the lone servicable QB in a long time)

Knowing Allen he will start Matt.. A worthless QB that will not be in the league 2 years from now. There is only one kid on this team that needs a look and some reps... Pryor.. I know Stork doesn't like him but we have him, why not see what he can do? Heck Stork still thinks Allen is a good Head Coach. We know what Matt is capable of and thats below average on his best day. But then again how can anyone shine in this offense......

Yea im with you 100% on this one Stork, no way should RM fire DA this early into his contract seeing as how they took over a disfunctional team to say the least and are in the midst of rebuilding and disposing of ridiculous contracts...
