*Word out of Oakland is Carson Palmer’s rib and lung injuries may be even worse than reported. In part because of the injury, some of the big dogs in Oakland are saying they don’t expect Palmer to return in 2013. That will put the Raiders squarely in the middle of what looks to be a very mediocre quarterback market.

As stated it appears to be a rumor, I wonder if it is a ploy to get more value for the 3rd pick, from someone who wants to trade up. I hope he isn't done, I don't care for any of the QBs in this draft, and I don't trust TP to carry the team.

Until I see a crediable source exclaim he is not comming back, I will assume he is. Injury or salary cap economics are the only two legitimate reasons why he should not return for 2013. I believe he will restruture and thus be the 2013 opening day starter, provided he is healthy.
