Im sure if this game had any kind of meaning he would be out there. There was no key signature play where he got hurt. hes not out there because he doesnt want to resign with us and its dumb for him to risk injury when the 31 other teams know what he can do.
Was it his choice or the teams. He does want to resign with us but for what he is worth which is a little more then brown I don't believe those reports about FITZ money.
and my god did you guys see Keenan Lewis try to run on that deep pass. hes hobbling yet hes still out there
Tomlin refuses to take injured players out.. as proven when he kept Byron in with broken ribs and now Lewis limping around
First of all, this is the first time Wallace ever quit. Taking himself out of a meaningless game, AFTER the team was eliminated from the playoffs so this isn't "quitting" much, to protect himself. He's already earned his payday. Unlike Keenan Lewis.
Which brings me to my second point. If the player doesn't seek out the trainers, it's not on Tomlin to send them to the player.
And about the aging defense, Timmons (2007), Lewis (2009) and Allen (2011), were three of the most important players on the #1 defense in yards and would be higher in points if not for turnovers by the offense.
