Great interview. Been saying since his rookie season that he will become a superstar in this league. All he needed was the work ethic and he clearly has that. All we have to do now is sit back, watch and enjoy

Brewer has been too volatile this year. Offensively, I wasn't expecting anything from him, but his defense has been surprisingly average. I guess I should look up the metrics on him defensively but I'd imagine it would prove he hasn't come in and provided the perimeter defense that this team sorely needs.

Maybe Ronnie came back too early from his debridement procedure and just doesn't have the lateral quickness yet, but Iman's return really can't come soon enough. I hope he's not forced to playing any time at the PG position like he had to briefly last year, that was an awful experiment.

When both are at 100% health, because I'm assuming Ronnie isn't, than we might have ourselves the best wing defender combination in the league in a few months!!

    Lets look at Shumperts numbers......

Lets look at Isiah Thomas Rookies numbers
    David Lee......20 points.....11 Rebounds....4 assist...54% shooting from the floor

Maybe in 5 years Shumpert might get close to that....
and the Knicks will trade him and get nothing for him,,like they did with David Lee

Shumpert wasn't drafted to put up big numbers. He's a suffocating defensive specialist and already one of the best perimeter defenders in the game. Either way, what did Lee average his rookie season. Why are you comparing a 6-7 year player to a dude who hasn't even played a game in his sophomore season?

The kid is 20 years old, he probably could be on the court now, the training staff and coaches have been very careful which is a really really good thing. Because of his age and the patience that has been shown, there is no doubt in my mind that he can come back the same, if not better than he was last year. This will be a great addition to this team and i for one am 100% optimistic to get that flat top on the court.

BTW did any one see him and JR smith Gagnham style at the end of the game in the huddle during a timeout last night??? i rewinded it 3 times on my DVR hahahahaha

Your schtick is getting as old as you are! Why are you harping on David Lee when this team is playing as well as they are and what in the world does D Lee have to do with Shumpert on any level? By the way, those are D Lee's numbers now not as a rookie if that's what you were saying. Stop living in the past man.

What an awful post. Knicks FO had the opportunity of trading Iman for Nash and they weren't willing to do it. Yes, Steve Nash. They are very high on him even after such a terrible injury. Please, enough talking out of your ***.

Don't if you noticed, but through all the pain, the Knicks are now in position to win. This is the best chance for them to win, so I wouldn't change anything.
