We dont have a top-3 player like Kobe was but we have a top-10 player and by far the deepest team he's ever coached. He will empower Deron same way he did to Gasol and Kobe.

To be honest, Avery Johnson wasn't doing that bad of a job. The only reason why their not sitting in the top 3 of the East is because Deron hasn't been shooting well and players are b**** about minutes. Lopez has been injured and slowly getting back to form, but Blatche has played well. There is absolutely no reason that they can't produce a 7-3 over a 10 game stretch unless their just not giving it their all

Thats the problem. They quit on Avery and I can't blame them. He absolutely had no system. He is as bad as Mike Brown except Brown actually is OK on coaching defense.
