Nets dont have the right pieces for Phil? The teams that Phil went to those players didnt make their careers untill Phil coached them.... MJ wasnt MJ untill Phil was his coach, same with Kobe. Phil would take these players to new heights.

Phil said it himself, he never had to coach a team without superstars, saying its just his luckl meaning he look at teams with superstars and go there, thats why he wanted to go to LA.
Nets have stars but are they superstars?
Phil has design his triangle with MJ as the focal point, than Shaq than Kobe.
so we know he can make it work with SG/SF and C but can he do it with a PG?
remember the triangle don't require a true PG so it would be interesting to see if he takes the job.
