get ur damn gabbert and tebow homer shades off. if u cant realize how much better our passing offense plays with Henne over gabbert than you should seriously think about not being a fan. Tebow is a worse qb than gabbert.

atleast a couple of hennes ints were the fact we were behind a bit and he was forcing the issue into making a play. a few of hennes ints were tipped ball ****** luck.

atleast with henne our passing offense wasnt as big as a joke as tebow possibley coming to jacksonville and somehow completing more than 50% of his passes and taking us to the playoffs with the crappy team around him.
Mularkey is also the one that stressed to not force passes. He's too conservative. I think if we got someone like McCoy who could design an offense to fit our players Gabbert would do a LOT better.

Just look what happens when he lets Gabbert throw deep. He id pretty good against Green Bay and Minnesota.

Tebow has better career PASSING numbers than Henne. That doesn't take into account his running ability or his leadership ability. Tim is flat out A BETTER PASSER than that dumb lump, never mind a far better all round quarterback. Gabbert is better than both of them.

building an offense that fits henne is much better. sure gabbert didnt play conservative nancy boy for 2 games this year but thats not even a quarter of the games he played. henne made our passing offense much better even with the added ints and you cant deny the fact it was Henne who finally got Blackmon to produce and not gabbert.

Henne it too inconsistent to start on a permanent basis. Plus, the play calling has been atrocious. Plus Blackmon had already been playing substantially better before Gabbert got hurt.

    lol

hard to put stats out when he sucks.

    lets look at the numbers.

    Henne: 10Games 166completions 308attempts 53.9completion % 2,084yards 6.77 yards per attempt 11tds 11 ints 1 fumble 29.9qbr 72.2 passer rating. 19 carries 64 yards 3.4 yards per carry 1td 3 fumbles.

    tebow: 14games 126 completions 271attempts 46.5 completion % 1,729yards 6.38 yards per attempt 12tds 6ints 7fumbles 29.9qbr 72.9 passer rating. 122 carries 660 yards 5.4yards per carry 6tds 6 fumbles.

    Gabbert: 10games 162completions 278attempts 58.3competion % 1,662yards 5.98 yards per attempt 9tds 6ints 4fumbles 40.9qbr 77.4 passer rating. 18 carries 56 yards 3.1yards per carry 0tds 1 fumbles.

so in terms of being a better qb outside of even statistics which is watching the game and seeing how our offense plays Henne is the better passer. sure the stats dont really agree with it much but gabbert plays captain checkdown to chad henne doing his brett farve imitation.

    look at the turnover ammounts.

henne: 14 turnovers in 327 plays in 10 games. 23.35 plays per turnover.
tebow: 19 turnovers in 393 plays in 14 games. 20.68 plays per turnover.
gabbert: 11 turnovers in 296 plays in 10 games. 26.91 plays per turnover.

still dont see how gabbert is a Better QB than Henne when all gabbert does is check it down more than 75% of the time.

yes henne maybe a little inconsistent but who can blame him when u have insert Street free agent or Practice squad rb next to him. sure blackmon might have been playing a little better before gabbert got hurt but gabbert rarely even looked at him compared to henne.

Take that ridiculous "qpbr" nonsense and shove it up your ***. It's pointless, misleading, AND NO ONE TAKES IT SERIOUSLY.

Tebow had the third highest passer rating ALL TIME coming out of college. So far in his career he has a better passer rating than either Henne or Gabbert. But at least Blaine is younger than he is and should get better with time. Henne is MEDIOCRE and isn't getting any better. He is dumb, bottom line. There is a ceiling of development for dumb quarterbacks.

u can take tebows and gabberts "lady parts" and shove them both up ur *** at the same time. the fact and matter is the fact that our offense played much better with henne than with gabbert.

tebow is probably the worst qb in the NFL. couldnt even start over sanchez

Sanchez had been in N.Y. for 4 years when Tebow got there. After being the fifth overall pick of the 2009 draft and winning a few playoff games for them. You think that anyone off the street is going to walk in and take Sanchez' job? They brought Tebow in for a specific purpose and it wasn't to be the starting quarterback obviously.

Tebow could start over Sanchez just Rex wouldnt let him. A MJD and Tebow option would be nasty with Shorts and Blackmon on the outside.

Tim is a much better passer, leader, and runner than Sanchez. Without question.

Everyone cracks on Tebow's passing, but there is no evidence to support the myth. He doesn't spend a lot of time throwing high percentage (i.e. behind or just past the line of scrimmage) passes the way Bradford, Brees, or Alex Smith do, but he makes up for it with his downfield passing. Plus he doesn't throw picks. Overall his passer rating is fine for a guy with just one year starting experience. Has twice as many td passes as interceptions, and a winning record as a starter.

the option deserves to go in the garbage. look at the Playoff teams. why do u think most playoff teams dont run the option. its because its a gimmick.

only 2 teams that run some option i believe and thats the 49ers and the redskins.

qbs should throw the ball especially considering how much money they get paid and considering how the rules in the NFL make is a Passing League. tebow isnt a good passer. he cant even complete 50% of his passes in his career(dont give me this years stats cuz look at the attempts and it was in wildcat where he runs more than he throws).

Im not saying bring him in and let him be the starter automatically. I want him to come in where we can use him on certain packages and if we start lossing like we did this year we can put him in and see what he can do.
