    Buccaneers Fire Defensive Line Coach

PewterReport.com is reporting that Buccaneers have parted ways with defensive line coach Randy Melvin after one year. The Bucs had 27 sacks last year, which was tied for the third-fewest in the NFL and last in the NFC. The Bucs now have four vacancies to fill on the assistant coaching staff this offseason.

Any chance Bryan Cox either engulfes this into his current position or just changes titles or anything of the sort

Marinelli is still the DC in Chicago and I doubt hed want to go back to positional coach but he would be the ideal pick

^^^^ your stating the obvious ... im saying it would be sweet, that's all.

coach Schiano wouldn't be able to pull Brick Haley away from LSU either.

EDIT: couple reports I read have Rod leaning towards leaving to join Monte in dallas possibly

Looks like we might get a chance at Marinelli after all..maybe he could bring Melton with him too
