Blake will probably see Duhon's minutes. He's a better passer and better ball handler than Duhon. Dantoni seems to be high on Blake as well.

I don't mind seeing Blake back up Nash. It might be good for consistency off the bench.

When Blake comes back he will end up taking 60-70% of the abuse that Pau is currently taking, even before he gets on the floor. If he plays only a little better than Duhon and Morris, he will still be pilloried both for his play and his salary after every game, leading to multiple threads about how he should be traded and isn't worth what he's making. This will ultimately devolve into the same sort of non-stop idiocy we're seeing with Pau.

The only relief we'll get from any of this will come at the trade deadline, whether or not any trades are actually made.

Trade him to a team that is in need of a veteran backup PG and has a $4.0M TPE. Honestly, if he won't be back until after the all-star break anyways, just not enough time to get into rhythm with the team and play the way D'Antoni wants him to play.
