    Hideki Matsui Appreciation Thread

This crazy son of a ***** was my favorite Yankee growing up, and I was sad to see Cashman not sign him to one year deals after the 2009 season. He will be announcing his retirement this afternoon in NY. It was a fabulous career Godzilla!

I'll miss Matsui. Hell of a hitter and a true professional. Enjoy retirement, Godzilla.

    .292/.370/.482/123 OPS+/20 HR/85 RBI average as a Yankee

Can we somehow get a young Matsui again?

    Those #s are Nick Swisher-esque.

Seriously though, the guy was great. A true professional, and also avid collector of pornography. I wish the guy the best.

Comparing Matsui to Swisher is like comparing Jennifer Lopez to Nikki Minaj. Sure, they both have big ***** but one I'd like to make sweet love to and one I'd like to murder.
