I almost gave up on life, bro. There was no point anymore.
    I'm glad you reconsidered

    Slight gaff but nothing major:

    • And after that, the Strangest But Truest Thing of all: The Giants didn't lose again, going 56 consecutive innings without trailing at any point, winning seven straight postseason games.

They were losing 2-1 (3rd inning) in Game 4 of the World Series

We didn't trail in 6 games plus 2 innings of game 4 until Miggy hit that wind-aided homer in the 3rd inning. So for 56 innings we never trailed at any point, he was right.

Greedy22, I stand corrected! I misread that fact to read they "never trailed again". Good catch.

This article is a very interesting read. But down 0-2 and headed for Cincy, I thought to myself, "WRAP CITY" and "RIP GIANTS"

Me of little faith, and me not being the die hard that I ain't. I was literally saying that the Warriors season opener is just around the corner...and then this happens..

    Same here, but no complaints.

Haha thanks, I had to re-read it to catch it myself!
