They're underachieving because of Avery, he isn't maximizing their talent. He's a solid coach, but not for the Nets with the personnel they have. Another issue they have is they need someone who is more of a leader and isn't afraid to put players in their place; Avery is more of a teacher, isn't as aggressive per say. If the Nets got someone like SVG, who is a no bs type coach, this team will be night and day from what it is now.

homie Avery Johnson sucked. There is no defending that guy. I actually thought he was bringing his Dallas coaching to that team. He didn't. He has players like Deron running off screens to generate his offense, since when Deron that type of player? Brook Lopez doesn't get touches, Reggie Evans gets plays drawn for him. And I love Wallace but who the f' draws plays for Gerald Wallace and saids the offensive plays are going to be drawn for him to create mismatch, you have Deron Williams and Joe Johnson as 2nd and 3rd options.

MarShon can't get minutes over Toka IDK what his name is but he ain't a better shooter than MarShon. Bogans is getting shots over him. Blatche and Lopez were paired together, that was it. Avery was just exposed. He needed to go. LOLS
