I'm going to keep pointing to the fact that the Jets lost Hunter, Turner, Mulligan, Smith, Cole, etc. in recent years and have not really replaced them. Mostly because I don't have any other explanation as to why the **** this is happening. But all there of those guys were very good on special teams, and now it seems guys like Moore are playing on special teams more often, starters instead of backups.
I'll say this though, Folk could get those kicks a bit higher, and his kickoffs haven't been particularly good either. I know the Jets will probably promote from within and Folk has been decent this year so Kotwica will probably be more comfortable keeping him, but I'd really like to see them give him some competition next year in training camp.
