Completely agree with you here. Sanchez is absolutely terrible... even a lot of the passes he completes, he doesn't even hit the receiver where he's supposed to. He makes easy throws turn into difficult catches. HE IS TERRIBLE!
And honestly, I believe if we had Alex Smith start all 16 games for us, we'd be in the playoffs. Smith isn't great, but he's smart enough and all those damn turnovers from Sanchez killed us big time. We'd win more games simply if he didn't turn the ball over as much as he did, especially in the red zone. He could have still been mediocre or even bad with his passing, but if they weren't so many interceptions and fumbles, we'd win more games. Dude is terrible. Gotta go.
We could of even been 10-6 had we won the OT game in NE and the easyest game of the Season against the Titans, We also had a legit shot to beat the Texans and had we won those games we likley beat San Diego to. We keep letting the Bengals get to the playoffs because we keep blowing it, and if the Bengals lose Sunday and if we would have went 9-7 we would have made the playoffs
Sanchez had 30+ TDs last season.
If you put Romo behind this offensive line with Holmes, Keller, Kerley, Clyde Gates and Shonn Greene, he would have the same or worse turnover numbers.
If you put Sanchez behind the Cowboys line and gave him Bryant, Miles, Whitten and Murray/Jones, its a no-brainer his numbers would go up.
The best example in recent years is Philip Rivers. The only thing San Diego has done for him in recent years is play games with Vincent Jackson. Is it shocking he has more TO than TD this season?
Look at Josh Freeman over the past 3 seasons. In 2010 people were pissed we had picked Sanchez. In 2011 those people shut up. In 2012 they added Doug Martin and Vincent Jackson and until the past two games was on his way to the pro bowl.
Does Sanchez leave a lot to be desired? Yes. Is Alex Smith the answer? IDK, maybe. The bottom line is there is no point to adding a new QB if you don't improve the offense too, and we don't have the money to do both. We don't owe it to Sanchez to give him another season, but its probably the only thing that makes sense.

This is wrong. #1 Pass Defense in the league with Revis this year more than likely and he also helps the run game. Not just because he's a great tackler on the outside and applies a lot of pressure, but because he often allows us to stack the box more cause we don't need to worry about deep threats half as much. Our D was good this year but inconsistent and sucked against the run and not having Revis is a MASSIVE part of that

If we re-sign Braylon and Greene, and Holmes is back I think our offense will be damn solid if we can get a good QB in here and draft a good speed back in the first or second round
You can't make that statement as if it's a fact. The Cromartie we saw this year was not the same one we have seen the last two years with Revis. The guy who's been on the field the last couple of years does not necesarrily make this a #1 passing defense in 2012.
The question is, which Cromartie shows up in 2013? This might be the reason he gets traded.

the Jets are ranked near the top in pass YPG because:
1 - the rush D is so poor, why pass?
2 - they suck, they never have the lead
