Out of each of the last place team's from last season..

EXCLUDING the Red Sox, which team would you choose as having the best CHANCE at turning things around this upcoming season and potentially earning a playoff berth?

Since the Astros are now in the AL West, I have included the Cubbies as well.

Other than Boston it would have to be Colorado, IMO.

If they get advanced contributions from some of their young arms (Pomeranz, Friedrich, Nicasio) they could have a decent staff.

I still think, high side, you're looking at a .500 record, but stranger things have happened.
Here's to feeling good all the time.

how come the Red Sox don't count? they finished in last place. I think if they were an option many would pick them. they should still count.

of the options available, where is none of the above? I don't really think any of those teams have much of a chance as the way those teams currently look on paper.

So hard to choose, I Will have to go with the Rockies, Even though that's a hard division to win.

None of these teams made any discernible improvements so voting on any of them just seems like voting on "who's gonna catch lightning in a bottle this year, like the orioles last year" and in that regard i may as well just pick one blindfolded.

It's probably the team with the most young players. It's not very likely that veterans who suck will all of a sudden play great.

Red Sox aren't an option, why?
