Everyone operating under the assumption that you only need one good quarterback in the league. Check out the guys starting at the end of the season versus the ones who started at the beginning. Pretty high percentage of teams in the league had a different starter. Or used a different one during the course of the season.

There really is no downside to adding Tebow. The cost will be negligible in terms of assets, probably nothing. The guy has a better winning percentage than either QB on the roster, and is the only one to have a playoff start. He is 25 years old, an age when most QBs are just starting to come into their own. He has the size, athletic ablility, and mindset to play other positions. Tim could probably do a decent job at middle linebacker in a pinch. What's to lose?

    1) Tebow doesnt have the mindset to play any other position but QB.
    2) wat we could lose is make our offense worse than wat we had in 2011 with McCown/Gabbert starting.
    3) with tebow not beating out our qbs on the roster hed likely be inactive or 3rd qb and after 1 incomplete pass fans in the stands(atleast the gator homers which you seem to be a part of) will clamor for tebow to be the starting qb meaning he would be a distraction on the team.

If we win he wont be a distraction that simple.

it doesnt matter. its essentially the same move the Jets made and thats a PR move which we dont need. if Tebow played anywhere else in college or highschool no one here would want him.

be easier if we could just make them disappear or take them behind the woodshed and hit them with 2 X 4s till they admit tebow is garbage

Yea thank goodness we have a great passer QB in Gabbert who led us to a 5-11 record his first year and a 2-14 record his 2nd year. What would we do without him.
