    Avery needs to be Fired

Avery has always been overrated and has underachieved in dallas and now in both jersey and brooklyn. this brooklyn team should not look this bad. I say fire avery before its too late

I posted this on the Deron thread.

First two seasons with Dallas after he came in the last 20 games or so were great. In the playoffs he knocked off Houston, then I think got swept by Phoenix. Second season: Great season, knocks off San Antonio in San Antonio 7th game, goes to the finals, gets a 2-0 lead, loses the next four. And now come the two seasons which are pretty much proof that he is not a good coach. Finishes both seasons winning 60 and 50+ games, gets knocked off both seasons in the first round. Comes to NJ. Starts well, usually ends up the season terribly where we can't win ****. Comes to Brooklyn. Starts well, beats Boston, gets two 5 game win streaks. And then can't win **** anymore, we end up needing OT to beat the Detroit Pistons at home. Need I say more? Do you see an upwards trend?

    Ironically this is true.

Run the offense thru Blatche and Lopez the left and right low post. The only problem is Gerald Wallace. Dude can't shot a 3 to save his life. You need a SF who can hit an open 3. He might need to come off the bench. Brooks at SG and JJ at SF. FREEMARSHON!!

I agree 100%. With Phil Jackson, you put Brooks at SG. and JJ at SF. And the Triangle would fit perfect. You could use Wallace as the Rodman type in the Triangle, all the dirty work. This team is so set up for it.

Really dude, the knicks would take crash at the three right now. Avery is failing at trying to speed the team up, you guys should probably slow it down and pound teams inside. Don't worry about three the ball, you guys should be playing like the Bulls, defense and rebounds can win you aloooooooooot of games.

I refuse to spend money on tickets while this moron is in charge. We are a 500 team with him, no question about it.

Does Johnson's contract expire at the end of this season? If so, good. Management can take their time finding the right fit. Yes this team may be a slumping, old team with a battered down superstar pg but the right coach would find a way to be respectable now while also using the explosiveness of Brooks and perhaps the shooting of Teletovic. After the 11-4 start, we've been what, 4-11?
