yeah, my wife and i eat at the fontainebleau a lot (scarpetta and hakkasan, especially). we live about 20-25 mins north on A1A, so we can either take the scenic route down to miami beach, or we can hop on 95 and save about 5 mins while almost being killed by all the crappy drivers on the highway.

Sparano will be fired as early as Monday

Per Steinys Twitter. They want Norv Turner.

Tony Sparano is one and done in NY. He's going to be fired as early as Monday. #nyj

Hearing the #Jets are infatuated with the idea of Norv Turner replacing Sparano as the offensive coordinator. #nyj
Great start.. Tannebaum and Sanchez hopefully next.

Edit: Steiny is now saying Tanny will be out as well as the last two roster spots he fills this weekend will be his last.

#Jets currently have 51 players on the active roster. The next two guys Tanny signs will be the last players he ever signs as #Jets GM.

That would be a great start to diminishing the "stench" on this franchise

Get a solid GM, a figure out a way to "remove" Sanchez and we can all start over like it was effective marriage counciling

The funny thing is that they were so sure about this hiring initially. They didn't even interview anyone else. Dumb move.

The guy who's replacement was publically being shopped for while he was still HC in Miami. You have to be doing a HORRIBLE job when that's the case!

    (See Tannenbaum and Sparano now)

It's all guesses right now. How can we possibly know who the Jets are interested in if the Jets are sure fire to fire their GM? Who's interested in Norv? Woody?

Cimini dropped some names last night as well:

Starting to hear names for likely openings on #Jets, per sources: Joey Clinkscales (GM), Norv Turner (OC), Cam Cameron (OC). Will be others.

Not upset about losing Sparano, but they never tried to put together an offense that could run his scheme. How do you change offenses and the only new player you bring in is Stephen Hill? Oh, I'm sorry, we traded Wayne Hunter right before the season -- 2 guys.

Dead before it started. Injuries buried it.

Sparano was the guy they got stuck with last year. They actually wanted Norv Turner, but he didn't end up getting fired. Now we will be able to right the ship and get one of the best offensive minds in nfl history on our coaching staff, once he gets fired on Monday.

Be thankful that Sparano sucked this year, regardless of whether or not he was set up for failure because Norv is the superior coach.

I know Cam Cameron has been thrown around, but that has to be for negotiation sake. They wanted Turner last year. Rex and Norv wouldn't have been publicly making out after a mini-feud the past 2 years, if this wasn't in the works.
