Once I rack up some PTO I will prob. take a nice stretch off and hit up at least 3-4 games depending on what my liver can handle.
The weather lately though might have me looking for one of my days off.
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of heights I could deal with it but I liked those seats down the line in the 200 level.
We will see now that I have a year to prepare for this **** I can probably afford the 5k or whatever it costs to get 81 games if I had to, but that's definitely what I'm shooting for kinda regret not going this year but I did only have five days notice.
Nope. But next time I go I will take a photo. You know I have read a lot about sections but the truth is you really have to sit in the seats to know what you are getting. As an example I saw someone mention sections 214 to 228 as being best. Now I understand the thinking because those are all near home plate. But the fact is if you are in one of those sections but the seat you have id situated where a pole is in the way of your view of the infield the seat is not as good as the one I have in 231. In fact, when I was at Wrigley to pick my seats my wife and I got to sit in any seat we considered purchasing. There was a pair in section 228. In fact it was a few rows lower than my seats (row 12, I believe). Anyway, when we sat there we had out view of the infield blocked by a pole. So we looked to other seats. Another thing to consider when buying seats is where the aisle is. So many fans spend the day buying beer or other concessions, if you are on the wrong side of the aisle it could make for a long game. This is something else people who are buying seats without knowing exactly where they are have no way of knowing. What sucks is when people look at stubhub for seats they are drawn closer to home plate. So my seats don't sell as well. Even though the view is better, people buying on stubhub have no way of knowing. I am sure there are many good seats in section 228, all I am saying is you cannot make a blanket statement of what section you would want to sit in. I know I will sell many more games than I will go to. And I know my section hurts the pricing a little. But I wanted to have seats that when I went to the game I would be happy with.

Sat in my seats for the first time today. Section 202, Row 5, seats 11-12. Bought these over the phone pretty much sight unseen. My rep did take a picture for me, but this was my first time in person. Have to say they were better than I expected. Seats are in the middle of the row, so not much in the way of vendor issues.
Croce, noticed from your picture that the seats I bought must have opened up late because they didn't seem to be available in your photo. I did take a few pictures from the seats.
My sales have been so-so. They are a bit down the line, so that might be turning some people away. I enjoyed them this afternoon though, very happy.
The picture that I have shown on here shows the opposite side of the field you have (section 242, Cubs side of the field).
But as for your seats, send me a PM and I'll give you my email address. I'd love to take the picture from you. Then if you ever sell your tickets on Craigslist or eBay, I'll have the picture of your seats available and you can use that image to show your view![]()
The seats you have are great because that section is angled towards home plate. Sure, it's in the outfield. But I'd rather have that than infield seats behind row 16 or so. Can't see a damn thing!
I was talking about the picture you have posted from the right field upper deck with the blue and pink seat covers showing.
I'll send you that PM and send you the pics tomorrow when I get home.
Any of you season ticket holders willing to sell your Cubs baseball cards you got for being a season ticket holder, send me a message.
How are sales for everyone? I am getting lucky, my co-parter that is in on a ticket with me works at a hospital and has been selling all the tickets there. At worst she sells them for face value but she's been making between $5-$30 on each game depending on the game.
I was hoping to have a minimal loss but the way things are going I expect no worse than to make our money back even with me going to a game or two. We've only had one game not sell so that's pretty huge too.
Oh luckily I havent had any not sell.
I only have 7 left too that I don't plan on using.
