Vick vs. New York Giants Week 17 IGT

The Giants playoff chances go through Philly. In their way, #7.

The year could not have gone much worse, but if this truly is Reid/Vick's last game together in Philly then I hope we go out with a crushing win against the GMen.
To some, he was just a boy. A boy who played football, a football player that grew to be a man. A man that took over a city, a city that he made his own, a city that stands behind him in hopes of becoming one of that cities all-time greats. To some, 2013 was a fluke. To some, he can't do it again. To some, he got lucky.

To us though, to the Philly faithful, that QB is Nick Foles. To us, that's our QB.

Man the wheels have fell off the Giant train.I say the Eagles whip them soundly.Just hope it doesn't ruin the high draft pick.

If Vick starts hes going to be really rusty...we have nothing to play for and are on the road. Only way I see us winning is if the Giants find out they are mathmatically eliminated before the game ends and mail it in.

And mess up my draft hopes, I hope they lose. We need a top 5 pick for rebuilding purposes

The Giants will be eliminated and will have nothing to play for. They are self imploding much like the Eagles did after the 3-1 start.

Vick gets injured again and Trent Edwards comes in and wins us the game.

Obvioulsy want a top 5 pick, but if we can knock the Giants out of the playoffs I'll take it. I think I hate the Giants more than the Cowboys, and to have us keep them out of the playoffs would make this season seem a lot less shi***.

This is probably the only decision that coach Andy Reid has made on his own for about the last 6 Weeks since Tom Donahoe is calling the shots.

well Andy and Marty went back to Pass Heavy last week so if he does it again this week its a L
we need a coach that has something to prove, he will play to the team strengths and not be stuck in his ways.
    Bring on the NEW COACH!
    Eagles offseason:
    [] Hire new coaching staff
    [] Restructure Mike Vick
    [] Sign/draft Starting OLineman
    [] Sign/draft physical cornerbacks
    [] Sign/draft Starting Safeties
    [] Sign/draft Big WR
    [] Sign veteran Safety

I'd rather have the draft pick. If Foles was starting and won this game, it would mean a little something, but Vick is meh.

I couldn't care less about winning this game. Lose it and assure yourself a little extra in the "future" department.

So little available in the draft that 3-6 pick position means very little this year.

    Win for Andy.

Well if there is so little in the draft you'd want to be higher to get what little there is so 3-6 means something

I actually am glad Vick is starting. He was nothing but a model citizen during his time here, gave us one fun 2010 season, so it'll be nice for him to have one last Philly hoorah

Even if the difference is marginal, I want the team being in a position where either:

    1) A team or two directly behind us decide that they just have to have someone, causing them to have to move up to our higher pick
    2) The team gets to pick exactly who they want without worrying, a higher pick allows this to happen more likely

Either of those means entirely more for the franchising than winning for Andy Reid. And in the end, my loyalties as a fan are to the Philadelphia Eagles and not Andy Reid, as much as I like the guy.
