Baltimore always plays us tough but I see us winning 2 of 3 games this weekend vs. them.
    Favourite Teams:

Boston Red Sox: 63-80, games this week vs. Orioles (3), Royals (4)
Indianapolis Colts: 0-1, Week 2 vs. Eagles
Minnesota Timberwolves: New team, hoping for good things this season.
Ottawa Senators: 37-31-14, season over, free agency begins this week.

RBI this season: Stephen Drew 67, Albert Pujols 64.

Saltalamacchia's 40th double of the season is a new #RedSox season record for a catcher.

How great is it to come home and see them up 8/2?

This season is better than the Impossible Dream year. This season is a RS epic year. Who knew?

I don't understand why Breslow is pitching in a blowout. He pitched in blowout Rockies game as well. Lets not even attempt to see if Webster can pitch well out of the pen. Obviously it's too late to see that now since he only pitched in one game.

It's too late now to give Webster a chance, even for RDLR. Bogaerts might not even be on the field for the playoffs stretch. We are playing to win the World Series, and no is no time to experimentation.

It's too late now because there are two games left. He should have been given a chance weeks ago, there were plenty of opportunities to settle him in during blowout games. We did ourselves a disservice by not giving him a real chance. After Koji, Breslow, and Taz we have nothing reliable. Instead of giving Thornton a million chances, Webster should have gotten some. RDLR got chances, he just didn't show anything with them.

And X has gotten plenty of playing time. It sounds like he will get more playing time during the playoffs, since Farrell said during the playoffs he would ph him for Drew against lefties.

Believe it or not, my only concern going into the playoffs is our offence despite teeing off lately. I have a good feeling about our pitching holding us in games, but it's gonna be that odd player that gets the timely hits pushing us deep into the playoffs.

Ortiz and Pedroia are a given, I'm thinking a Johny Gomes, Steven Drew type. Marco Scutaro style with the Giants.

Well I don't understand why Xander wouldn't be in the lineup tonight, unless they don't plan on him being on the playoff roster, which makes no sense. McDonald has no use on the bench, he's not going to come in for Pedroia or Drew to improve the defense. Hes also only played at the end of blowouts to give players some time off. Any way you go it makes no sense, unless Drew has some PA based incentive in his contract.

Lester is no Ace I'm sorry to say. He is just an average pitcher.
