Is Andruw Jones a Hall of Famer?

I say yes. He played great defense, was on good teams, and had good numbers

I say no, great defense, but was rarely the offense number one on the teams. didnt carry the team too often

That would have helped his chances. Had he had a career ending injury at 31 and never had all these awful seasons he would be getting alot more consideration.

Nope. Jones was always a good player but he was never great for an extended enough period to merit going into the Hall of Fame.

I admit, his statistics are borderline, BUT because he ENDED his career in the MLB in a YANKEES uniform...he will get some serious considerations.

If, however, he comes back and dons another NON-Yankee uniform, then no, he wont get in.

I know Im pessimistic, but Ive always said, if youre a decent player, and you finish your career as a Yankee or you were with the Yankees long enough, youre in the Hall of fame. Even Andruw Jones playing as a backup outfielder will test my theory IF he gets in.
