He was a really good player, but not a HOF'er.
ROARacle!
#2IN3
Nope. Jones was always a good player but he was never great for an extended enough period to merit going into the Hall of Fame.
Favourite Teams:
Boston Red Sox: 27-17
Indianapolis Colts: Decent draft, no new wide reciever though.
Detroit Pistons: Looking forward to the draft and whoever the new coach will be
Ottawa Senators: Down 2 to 1 to Pittsburgh, Game 4 on Wednesday Night, Game 5 on Friday Night and Game 6 on Sunday Night (If necessary)
Beautiful:
He juiced... So no.
He was a pretty good player but certainly not a HOFer.
If no Bonds than most certainly no Jones..

No. He tanked it in LA. Before that possibly, but now no way in my book!
Nope.
for now YES!!!!
I admit, his statistics are borderline, BUT because he ENDED his career in the MLB in a YANKEES uniform...he will get some serious considerations.
If, however, he comes back and dons another NON-Yankee uniform, then no, he wont get in.
I know Im pessimistic, but Ive always said, if youre a decent player, and you finish your career as a Yankee or you were with the Yankees long enough, youre in the Hall of fame. Even Andruw Jones playing as a backup outfielder will test my theory IF he gets in.
It depends on how much you like his defense
