    Lincoln

    has anybody seen it? is it as good as it ****ing looks??????? I am a civil war buff and am waiting to find time with the girlfriend to see it... cant wait!

    I would be shocked if any depiction of any United States political figure is done in a positive or truthful way by Hollywood. I may be wrong, but I expect it will be infused with "current" left wing political view rather than paint the picture relevant to the times he lived or from a 1850s contemporary view.

    My friend said that this moved into his top 5 movies of all time, and he is a pretty big movie buff.

    I will preface this by saying that I have not seen the movie, but I can't honestly believe that someone who knows about movies and has seen more than 5 could say something like that.

    The movie was great though. A strong cast. DDL was really good as Lincoln.
