Actually, a lot of guys these posters are pencilling in will be resigned by their own teams. Seabass is one of them for certain - he will NOT be available. It's really too early to project a FA wish list. You gotta wait two months.

This is why I'm urging the likely reality that a lot of our own guys will be re-signed. It will not be quite the upheaval most posters hope for.

The perfect Realistic offseason for me would look something like this,We need an overhaul at the WR posistion.

1.Hire Norv Turner for OC
2.Resign Laron Landry, Keller and most likely Bell to,Maybe Brandon Moore
3.As far as Cuts Tebow,Chaz Schienz,Clyde Gates,Lex Hillard,Jason Smith,Maybe Eric Smith
4.Sign Danny Amendola,Josh Cribbs,Greg Jennings, or Ted Ginn JR,Kevin Oggletree (atleast two), At TE sign Delanie Walker(SF has to resign Fred Davis and they most likley can't keep both)
5.Sign Anthony Spencer
6.Trade Sanchez,Calvin Pace, and a second round pick for Darren Mcfadden
7.Sign either Alex Smith or Matt Moore ,To compete with Sanchez because he isn't going anywhere it's impossible to get rid of him with that contract he will be a Jet next year he has zero trade value.
8.Draft a RT in the first round
9.Trade a low pick to Buffalo to get Brad Smith back, Let him run the real WildCat and return punts
10.Give Braylon Edwards another 1 year deal(If Sanchez comes back)
11.Give Revis a 5 year deal.

and Mark Sanchez just dissapears????? Decides to retire maybe???? We can't just cut Calvin Pace without taking a huge hit. Calvin Pace and Bart Scott are the least of this teams problems, Cut Sione Pouha??? We just resigned him to a 3 year deal and were gonna cut him 1 year later????His job is to stop the run up the middle and no one ever runs up the middle on us.The offense needs to be where all the moves take place this year just resign Landry and put whatever money we have towards the offense . The team you want on the field sounds worse then this years team

3-way deal (NYJ, JAX, SF):
JAX gets: Tebow, S Greene + Conditional 6th from Jets (on Tebow's PT, wins)
NYJ get Jones-Drew & A Smith
SF gets JAX 5th

Jets-ARI deal:
Sanchez, Holmes & Revis to ARI
Fitzgerald to NYJ

A Smith is basically gonna be "dumped" by SF so they'll take what they can get

L Fitz is USELESS w/o a QB......LOAD up their DEF w Revis, give them "gulp" a better QB option w Sanchez and use Holmes as WR replacement and somehwhat $$ off-set

Our DEF survived w/o Revis and he's value we can send out to get solid return

Edwards is not the answer but he wll help.. And kerley is very solid number 3 for us.. I dont grt how you can say he is not

EJ Manuel is a reach in the second round, especially when Wilson/Bray might fall. But I'm hoping Lance Jones falls to us. He showed some great pro-moments this year and his only real bad game was against Kansas State. He seems to me that if he can be groomed for two years, he could be one of the best prospects.

Jordan Reed might not even come out for the draft, a lot of people are saying that he's going to stay his senior year. He has explosive talent, but is a terrible blocker. If he does come out for the draft, he would be a semi-reach in the 3rd round.

Here is what we need to do to start fresh...

1- Fire Mike T and our enitre coaching staff

2- Hire new GM and let him find his coach. I'd hope for Bruce Arians or Mike Zimmer.

3- Cut our slow and overpayed defensive players. Cut Tebow.

4- Bring in Alex Smith, keep Sanchez if you can't find someone willing to absord the cap hit.

5-Find a new RB. I'm over Greene. He has no vision.

If we do those things, we are on our way.

NOTE: I would also like to see the Jets let Nike update our uniforms. It's time for a fresh start.
