Yeah, i just have the feeling that a quarterback will win, you all know the history. With that being said you all know the NFL have a crush on Manning and I'm worried he will win it.

Can't see how an MVP award can go to a player on a team that isn't in the postseason, just my view on it.

If the Vikings lose next week, then they're most likely out since Wash/Dallas or Chicago probably take over the 6th seed at that point.

I can't see how you don't give it to Rodgers with what he's had to work with. The numbers are down because he didn't have his two main receivers healthy and was forced to throw to guys that just plain aren't as good and he still managed to carry them to 11-12 wins this year with a pretty tough schedule and division.

You watch him play, stats aside, he's not near as good. That's what I meant. Not stats.

I've heard and seen that but the fact is that he didn't have anywhere near the same targets, has been rushed (46 sacks, ton of hits), etc.

Also, the MVP shouldn't be about what a person did last year, you can't be valuable to a team for something you did over a few weeks' stretch the previous year, the only thing that should be considered is if any QB is currently playing better then him, not if he's playing better then himself.

Aaron Rodgers should not have to compete with Aaron Rodgers for the MVP but apparently, that's exactly what he's doing since he can't catch Aaron Rodgers of last season even though he's been better then every QB this season.
