They need to go 14-5 to make a nice run at tge 4th or 5th seed in the West. Their record should be around 28-19 or so. they cannot play like they have the 1st quarter of the season..

Also Dantoni needs to start balancing the minutes after they get back in the playoff picture.

Basically if the Big 4 can all stay healthy... it's only matter of time in developing the chemistry that everybody envisioned when we first made the trades for Nash & Dwight.... basically health is our number priority.. the offense & defense will all come together...

Jan 4th @ Clippers, that one is key.

Look at the schedule for both teams leading to that game.

    Lakers

    Tonight @ DEN
    Friday vs POR
    New Yrs Day vs Philly

And then we have 2 days off before the Clipper game. We could potentially be riding an 8 game winning streak into that game.

    Clippers:

    Tomorrow vs BOS
    Friday @ Utah
    Sunday vs Utah
    New Yrs @ DEN
    Next night @ GSW

If the Clippers are able to somehow pull away with W's all those games, they'll have an impressive 19 game winning streak heading into vs LAL.

Spot-on. Over the last few games, we've been playing more as a team and gelling together even with Nash back. I feel that January is when we'll truly see what this team's got.

    Go Lakers

Well the Lakers just dropped a road game against Denver. They have 18 more games until the end of January. If they can somehow win 13 or 14 of their upcoming games, I will be satisfied. The real tests will be against the Clippers, twice against OKC, Miami, San Antonio and the game against Memphis. I want to see how we matchup with those teams with Nash in the lineup.

    !3-6 record. 27-21 record.

Bold prediction: 15-4 - so we should be, uh, 29-18 by then? Wishful thinking. I can see us losing to Miami, OKC both times , and San Antonio.
