The lakers have finally put a string of consecutive wins together and seem to be playing better than before. That being said, what do you predict their record will be by the end of January?

My hope would be that we could win four of these -- and I don't care which four. A .500 record against talent would be a huge step for this roster right now.

So...if we're lucky, work hard, and take defense seriously, I'm looking at the Lakers going 13-6 over this stretch, which would give us a record of 26 and 20 at the end of January.

That would be a 56.5% winning percentage, currently good for 6th place in the western conference.

I agree with basically all of this. Except, I just have a bad feeling about the Denver road game. They always give us a fight over there. But yes, if we play to our potential we should win. However, that is a big if.

The Lakers now have their four stars on the floor together for the first time since October. Let's say they hold their home court against the Knicks on Tuesday. And let’s say Dwight Howard continues to build strength, as does the defense, and the offense, already ranked fifth in efficiency, starts operating as the lethal machine it was designed to be, and the wins start to pile up.
