Get out of here. I'd much rather him n O hara than Diehl. Geez thought Diego was a bull all this time. He is useless. He is suppose to be our anchors! Our vets n he is messing around n getting beat badly. Retirement?? I'm surprised Giants O line isn't superb but look at Steelers. They can't get their O line ether. Eww Giants use to have a great O line that you could easily have 2-3 RBs with 1000yds

As long as Diehl doesn't play they can put anyone there, I think after Locklear went down our offense was doomed.

I really didn't wanna open this thread because I like Locklear a lot

    Ralph Vacchiano‏@RVacchianoNYDN

Giants were one of two teams to put in a waiver claim on ex- #NYG G Mitch Petrus, but he was awarded to the Tennessee Titans.

Crap. Having Petrus back would've been a huge help

Giants' Hakeem Nicks, Kenny Phillips not practicing today

    By Jorge Castillo/The Star-Ledger

Hakeem Nicks has played in the Giants' last seven games and wasn't on the injury report, but he isn't practicing today.Andrew Mills/The Star-Ledger

Hakeem Nicks was not on the Giants practice injury report yesterday, but he isn't practicing today.

Nicks was on a stationary bike during the media's access period and didn't join the wide receivers when the team split into individuals.

Nicks has battled through a sprained MCL he suffered against the Buccaneers in Week 2, which forced him to miss the next three games. But he's played in the last seven and insisted last week that he felt the best he has since he broke his foot during OTAs in late May.

Nicks caught five passes for 43 yards against the Redskins Monday night and only took a few plays off after he received a hit that left his nose bleeding. He ultimately played 58 of the Giants' 66 offensive snaps.

Safety Kenny Phillips (knee), safety Tyler Sash (hamstring), tight end Travis Beckum (knee) and running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) didn't practice yesterday and also aren't today.

Linebackers Chase Blackburn (ankle), Michael Boley (shoulder) and Jacquian Williams (knee) are practicing. They were limited yesterday.

Center David Baas (shoulder), WR Domenik Hixon (ankle) and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (back) practiced fully yesterday and are practicing today.

@jorgeccastillo: Special teams coordinator Tom Quinn indicated Domenik Hixon could see time as KR/PR if active.
because of increased work loads for David Wilson and Ruben Randle.

Randle looks terrible on PR..He almost doesn't go anywhere..except too the ground.

David Wilson looked great in the beginning, but he's looking more hesitant now on KR. Maybe because he's afraid he's going to fumble and get benched again? I'm not sure.

I think a lot of it for both of them is ****** blocking. Quinn really has no imagination with setting up his returners for success. Needs to learn from CHI, SEA, etc.

But yeah, I do think Coughlin has made a head case of Wilson. Preseason he ran hard and aggressive and looked like a game changer. But ever since getting benched after the fumble he runs very careful and safe....too safe. His returns have been solid when the blocking is there.

Coughlin on Amukamara: "He did strain the hamstring. We're going to have to see where he's at" & what the severity of the injury is. #NYG
No bueno. He downplayed it after the game, but still worried. That'll nag for a while. Hosley looked great yesterday though.
