I hate that they sell the naming rights. It will always be The Dome to me.

I'm totally fine with it being called the Rogers Centre. The majority of MLB teams have some kind of brand attached to their name these days, and as branded names go, "Rogers Centre" sounds better than the likes of "Minute Maid Park" or "US Cellular Field" IMO. If naming the stadium like this can in some round about way help improve the on-field product (revenue to ownership translating into increased payroll), even in some small way, then I am all for it.
Rogers Dome
Trojan or Durex should buy the naming rights. The Trojan dome or the Durex dome.

Rogers can name it whatever they want. All I care about is the product on the field.
"Good teams don't win close games, they avoid them." ~ Daryl Morey
“You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.” ~ Johnny Cash
I've mentioned this before, but the problem here is that no one would ever call it 'Rogers SkyDome', everyone would just shorten it back to 'SkyDome'. I've actually been surprised by how many I hear say 'Rogers Centre', I assumed the SkyDome name would live on for a long time.
I thought when they renamed it though, and still do, that Rogers Field or Rogers Park sounds much better than Rogers Centre. Rogers Centre sounds like a mall to me.
Rogers Skydome would be best however it would get shortened to Skydome. Now Rogers field would have been better then Rogers Centre.

Rogers Skydome would be great. Of course it'd get shortened down to just Skydome but we all know who owns the team so why would it matter? It's like the Air Canada Centre. It's always referred to as the ACC.
Damn you people. Go back to your shanties.
Anything with the word 'dome' in it and people will probably eventually call it the Skydome again.
Edit: Also Skydome is one of the best names for a sports venue anyways imo.

I don't really see why it even matters, they're still paying to get in and use the place. Rogers isn't some insecure teenager who wants to be noticed. And if "casual fans" don't know Rogers owns the Jays they're not fans at all. It should be common knowledge. It's a major company, not some what's-his-nuts billionaire sitting in his mansion drinking scotch.
Damn you people. Go back to your shanties.
