I actually am not sure if I realized that or not.
thats why you ride the short bus
I had hoped the reason the Ibanez signing hasn't been announced was becuase the team was working on a trade to make improvements/make room on the roster.
But instead, it looks like the team is just trying to be nice to whoever it is they are about to designate for assignment or whatever.
Who do you guys think is gone? Pegurero? Carp?
One of the corners is about to be weak. Either Raul/Casper platoon, or Casper has to go struggle against righties again, with Raul getting a few games here an there.
I liked the Kendrys move, but it really should have been added on to. We needed 2 bats, but OF should have come first since 1st/DH has a little more upside IMO.
Then that means Casper has to go out and hit .195/.244/.286 against righties. It will be tough to do much more addition now. Only have 13-14 spots for position players, so it would be tough to be able to carry a platoon for him with all the 1B/DH's we have
I think they might be ready to fully give Wells a shot at every day duties. I don't know if I agree with it but I'd rather give him a full time shot than stick Ibaņez out there.
Me too, I just dont know how great of an idea it is.
I have a feeling we will be pretty similar to last year. And I get the feeling Morales wont re sign with us, so in essence we didnt do much of anything this year.
Wells better start over Ibanez. he is a + defender and has one of the best OF arms. Ibanez sucks major *** in the outfield and cannot throw. But we already know this, hopefully Eric Wedge knows whats up.
Ibanez off the bench to PH would be nice.
So in three days nothing much happened.. We signed Raul, seriously who cares, and you guys did a lot of spamming around.. Merry Christmas! (here santa has already arrived)
At least Raul came decently cheap.
