Morse is not their finest talent. Have you seen that roster? It looks something like Strasburg, Harper, Gio Gonzalez, Haren, etc...

There is no DH in the NL. Where would Morse play for them? It makes almost too much sense to trade him.

What exactly has Strasburg proven thus far other than he's a great union poster child for the benefits of the DL.

Haren is suspiciously damaged goods especially concerning his various jaunts last season on the 15 day Pavano.

Harper is a fine player but even he was somewhat of a letdown from the hype and expectations going forward.

Im glad you brought up Gonzalez.

I ranted and raved that this guy was the real deal last year and all of the Cashmanites paraded endless meaningless Jamesian analyses stating that there was absolutely no way that the lowly Gio Gonzalez could ever succeed outside of the cushion of the AL West That Brian Cashman was absolutely correct to avoid even making eye contact with Team Gio. That the Mr. Gonzalez was a surety of a train wreck anywhere outside of the beloved warm embraces of Billy Beane.

Everyone has been suspiciously silent on that matter this year.

And I'm glad youre actually trying to bring that up now as a reference point of success.
