If we only judge players by which teams they go to, Diaz must be really good.....

Swisher stinks. Nobody wanted him. It's ok to accept this fact.

    Cleveland!

If the best you've got is that he didn't get the contract he wanted, (No player does), and that Cleveland offered him the most, that's not an overly compelling argument.

Come on leo, your going to tell me, you wouldn't high ball teams if you were in his shoes?

He knew he wasn't going to get that.

You "Being a business man" as you say you are..should know that's how negotiations go.

Texas and Boston were going too offer him more then 4/52, but they didn't want to give up the first round picks(especially not to the Yankees)

That means they didn't offer it.

The 'what if' game doesn't work in real life.

He had one offer. He took it. Good for him.

    Stinks.

All reports indicate they were extremely interested but didn't want to give up the draft pick.

Whatever, you have your man-hate for swisher which is really annoying, but I digress. Yeah he sucked in the post season but he was our second best hitter last year. So say what you want, he was still valuable to this team.

What baffles me is the people who like Swisher admit to him blowing chunks in the post season, yet he's still an asset to the team?

    No.

We're making the postseason, with or without Swisher. We have a great rotation and bullpen with a lineup capable of manufacturing runs through base hits, not home runs. This is exactly the type of lineup I had hoped Cashman went with.

How anyone can stand another minimum of four years of a pompous, choke of a player, is beyond me.

not last year we wouldn't have for sure. he was our second best offensive player.

and choking in the playoff pretty much describes every yankee bat. by your logic we should dump cano as well.
