I think he'll pretty bad. Night and day on the road and at home with the Yankees. Difference of .261 on home/road OPS.

Yup. I highly doubt he does well in Seattle.

But Safeco is a solid park for lefties to hit in. I think he does well.

Guy was such a pain in the *** during the Playoffs. I always love seeing players go back to their old team.

Makes no sense. No where for him to play, and Yankee stadium helped him a ton.
You have no idea how excited I am right now.

Montero isn't gonna platoon. So no, it doesn't make sense.

listen he was overplayed last year..... also he was playing in the OF too much with too many OF injuries... but when he was just a DH he played well..... I thought he did a good job

Overplayed? He only had 384 AB's and logged only 651 innings in the OF. That's not a lot. His numbers were due to playing at Yankee Stadium. His road numbers are more of who he is and he's been on the decline the past few years.

    Home: .273/.349/.545 .377 wOBA
    Road: .208/.269/.365 .275 wOBA

    2009: .378 wOBA
    2010: .343 wOBA
    2011: .306 wOBA
    2012: .325 wOBA

It's pretty safe to say he'd be around his 2011 numbers if he played almost anywhere else but Yankee Stadium.
