    Man I hate getting sick

I had a throat infection was out of the gym for about a week. Probably should have taken some more time off. I went back to the gym tried to make up for the lost week and BAM I got the flu. I have missed almost two weeks now. I have been back 6 months without missing more then a day here and there.

I am shrinking by the day.

Don't trip. I'm out for a week with some sort of flu and my back needs to heal. Good news is though, the rest does your body good. You'll put up bigger numbers after going back

being sick sucks in general!! I still try and hit the gym when I am sick. Not to bulk, but to do reps to keep the blood pumped.

Getting sick sucks but time off is good for the body. I'm about to take 10 days off, I'm not excited about it but I know I need it.

no offense, but I always advise people not to go to the gym when they are sick. it's too easy to spread it to everyone else.

If it is a minor cold or something that isnt going to effect your lifting, then you should be ok.

If it DOES effect you , you have no business being in the gym.

I hear that. I had a bad stomach bug, lost a decent amount of weight, felt weak as **** by the end of it.

I had my week off and went back today. I was hesitant because I am still congested but I went today for a light one just to move the body. I did chest and back and put up PR's haha.

BB Shrugs: get this....up 90 lbs to 455lbs 8 times
DB Shrugs: 95lbs 12 times (i've done this before but this time it just felt easy

Not really.. I wouldn't consider 6'3 200lbs that big. I'd refer to it as country strong lol
