    Jordan, 90-91'.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

    Dunno.
    Shaq

    93 - Amazing rebounding + block season
    94 - Amazing regular season 60+ FG%
95 - Amazing year and Finals performances for a 3rd year guy
98 - More skilled and more muscled but without any fat. Physical Peak?
    00 - Peak year
    01 - Best playoff run?
03 - Still close to his physical Peak and at his most skilled.

    One of those years.
    So hard to pick.

    Probably between 94, 98, 00 and 01.

MJ 1998 for me. Just because of how old he was and him being able to carry the team with his next best player out for half the season. After that I would say MJ 1991.

Other guys that come to mind are Tmac 2007, Drexler 1992, Hakeem 1994, Wade 2006

Any year where Jordan or Kobe won championships, just the whole playoff experience is the best especially when they come out on top

    Kobe

    07-08

MVP, NBA Finals appearances (loss to the prime Celtics), Olympics Gold Medalist

I think this is one of the seasons where he just played amazing, when he finally learned to score a lot while winning with his team, and later having Pau join him to go on a playoff run.

Kobe during his scoring tear season, just based on how fun it was to witness. 81 pts, 40+ in however many straight games etc.

    Wade 2005-06 and 2008-09.

Jordan 1996, that whole comeback story of proving all the doubters wrong and crying in the locker room floor after winning it all.

Hakeem in 94. MVP, finals MVP, DPOY, and all with a rag-tag band of role players. Not saying he was playing with scrubs, it was just a fun team to root for.
