I didn't say we weren't interested, I cleary said that in fact. But it went nothing beyond pure interest, that's my point. I'm saying if we make a move, I don't believe it until I see it completed on espn.

Once it's completed, what difference does it make if you hear about it on ESPN or bleacher report?

I thought you were saying you only trusted speculation from ESPN and that you didn't trust MLBTR, which doesn't make much sense as the MLBTR guys probably know more than the idiots on ESPN.

I actually like Arod. But his juice usage has wrecked his body. So now, he is useless on the field.

    I hope I'm wrong.

    Well, we know you're wrong.

Kelly has stressed that he does not believe Rodriguez's injuries are a result of performance-enhancing drug use.

"His hip was formed like that from the age of 15. It doesn't change its shape after that," Kelly said. "In that respect, this has nothing to do with performance-enhancing drugs."

Apparently Andy Pettitte was not on the current 27 man WBC roster, but there is one spot open and that is going to a pitcher.....

    Hmmmmm.....

The Yankees had expressed an interest in Michael Morse, but never even got a callback from the Washington Nationals. Justin Upton, who is being shopped by the Arizona Diamondbacks, has them on his no-trade list, but according to a source, that is not really an obstacle.

The real problem is that the Diamondbacks perused the menu of what the Yankees have to offer and saw nothing they wanted.

So now, it seems like Scott Hairston, the 32-year-old journeyman who had a career season for the Mets last year, could be the only choice and all indications are that he would rather play just about anywhere but in the Bronx, if only because the Yankees can’t promise him an everyday gig. Hairston’s agent, Casey Close, did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

Well, looks like the roster will stay as-is, pretty much? Disappointing, but they're obviously serious about payroll. We're still a playoff team and will definitely win, I just hope we can get past the second round.

There will be some additions, but probably no big names. There's kind of a hole in the lineup where the DH is supposed to be.

Guess who wishes he could have stayed as a starter instead of an injury prone middle reliever.

It is what it is I guess? A mediocre year and build team from prospects and the draft again. Problem is that there is a budget they want to adhere to and then they sign 35+ yr old guys to 1 yr deals with too much money on said deals.

    Nice sarcasm.

We all think big. We haven't made any additions to help us get to the WS is what I'm saying.

I guess you missed the Russ Canzler signing.
