I hate playing this team. Melo will be the difference.
The value of elite scoring ability, by Phil Jackson:

"This is a guy, we recognize his talent, and his skill is the kind of skill and talent that gets you through playoff games where things get sticky, grind-out, and basketball becomes a force game and suddenly you need to have a player who has the capabilities of scoring with someone hanging on them in a situation thatís critical. Heís one of those players, one of the few players who can do that.Ē

they got lucky! Belinelli averages around 9pts a game and scores 22pts last game. He ain't doing that again. We got this game in the book! Plus we got Melo, the league's MVP

I wish we could play the Nets every night. I get an unhealthy amount of enjoyment out of beating the **** out of them.

That's a bold prediction!! I'm guessing we win by about 8 points. The bulls are a tough team.

Belinelli is better than his season numbers suggest. As a starter (when Rip went down) he has been quite good for us averaging 16 ppg at almost 43% from the field, 42.5% from 3 and a ts% of around 56.3.

Yall have been on fire from 3, but I don't expect it to be maintained against our D. If it is, we'll be blown out. As far as I'm concerned, however, the PF matchup will be key. The last time we've played yall when you used Melo at the 4, we have had a lot of trouble. The question boils down to which team can take better advantage of that mismatch at the 4.

Honestly, I see Melo forcing us to go small like before and I have no qualms with putting Deng at the 4 and Jimmy at the 3. I think it'll be a ground it out game like last time, but you guys have a closer to win it in the end; we don't. Should be a good one. I just hope both offenses show up more than last time.

I think Brittney Griner changed her identity and is currently playing for the NY Knicks.

On a serious note, I am interested to see how we come out on D tonight. We sort of fell asleep at the wheel in cruis control in the midst of our winning streak and nobody really cared because we kept winning. That bit us in the *** against Houston and we looked more like the early season Knicks against the Nets. I want to see more DPOY Tyson and crisp switches/rotations.
