Possible Single Season & Franchise Records Broken This Season

Made this thread just to bring to people attentions records that are/may be broken this year and to discuss whether we think they will be broken or not, and the importance of these broken records.

Doug Martin currently has 1234 rushing yards...second place in franchise history is 1300...we all know he will get that but can he break James Wilder's franchise record of 1544, right now Doug is on pace for 1519..25 yards short. His ypg right now is 94.9, he needs to average 104 over his last 3 games to break the record, which would be amazing.

The franchise record for rushing touchdowns is 13, also by Wilder in 84. Doug currently has 10. I think he has a shot to tie or break the record this season.

    Thoughts?

    Josh Freeman

    Single Season
Freeman currently has 25 passing touchdowns, the franchise record is 26 by Brad Johnson in 2003. He definitely will top that, barring some freak injury.

Josh currently has 3192 passing yards and is averaging 245.5 yards per game, the franchise record is 3811 yards by Brad Johnson again in 2003. Freeman is on pace to break the record with 3928 yards. I believe he will break this one as well.

This will mean Josh has had the single greatest season for a QB in franchise history.

Josh is also 1 passing touchdown away from breaking Testaverdes all-time record in franchise history of 77...when he breaks the single season record, he will break this record as well.

    Vincent Jackson

    Single Season
Vincent currently has 1145 recieving yards(8th in franchise history), Mark Carrier set the record in 1989 with 1422 rec. yards. Vincent is averaging 88.1 ypg and is on pace for 1399 yards, good for 2nd place and only 23 yards short of the single season record. Can he break Mark Carrier's milestone?

Mike Williams currently holds the franchises single season rec. tds record with 11 in 2010, Vincent is within striking distance of the record with 8 already on the season. Can he tie or break Mike's incredible rookie numbers?

    Connor Barth

    Single Season
Barth is actually on pace to break the XPs made in a season record for the franchise. He currently has made 37 and Gramatica's record is 42. Barth is on pace for 45-46 XPs made this season.

The franchise scoring record(3 for FGs, 1 for XP, 6 for rec./rush tds) is 131 points, Barth currently has 106(5th best all-time) and is on pace for 130-131. He may be able to tie or break it.

    Tampa Bay Offense

The 2012 Tampa Bay Buccaneers will set the franchise record for most points scored in a season. They are currently at 354 and the record is 388 from 2000. The 2012 Buccaneers are on pace to score 435 points this season, breaking the old record my a significant margin and marking the first time the team has scored over 400 points in a season.

Certainly would keep confidence from the fans in this team alive, to break these records only proves how much harder it is to win in the NFL these days then it was back then!

Vincent need 89 yards to break the franchise record for most recieving yards in a single season.

Mike Williams needs 69 yards to have his first 1000 yard season.

Doug now has the 2nd most rushing yards in a single season in franchise history with 1312. First 1300 yard runner in Tampa since 1985. He would need 233 rushing yards to break the record, prob. wont happen.
