Jason Frasor signs 1 year deal with Texas

    http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/0...on-frasor.html

    $1.5 million/season seems reasonable.
Mentions Jays had shown interest in resigning JF.

Very glad he won't be back in Toronto! I know his numbers look reasonable but watching him play in close games was brutal.

Frasor is tough when not pitching back to back games. I always found him much more effective after at least a days rest.

The only righty he could have beat out for a spot in our bullpen is Esmil Rogers. I love the fact that our team has become loaded enough that we can wave bon voyage to Jason Frasor.

Rodgers is going to be in buffalo.

The pen is gonna be Janseen, Santos, Lincoln, Delenbar, Happ, and 2 of (Cecil, Loup, Oliver).

I think Perez has a better chance of making the bullpen than Cecil does.

In my opinion, the bullpen right now should 7 of the following 8 pitchers:

    R: Santos, Janssen, Delabar, Lincoln
    L: Happ, Loup, Oliver, Perez

I think Perez is the odd man out. If Oliver retires or is traded, then Perez makes the team in my opinion.

    2 things.

Perez is out till the second half with TJ surgery.

No team carries a 9 player pen. In fact its rare to see and 8 man pen. Teams generally carry 5 SP, 9 Starting Position players, 7 Man BP and 4 bench spots).

I forgot about Perez being out til mid-season. In that case the bullpen should consist of Santos, Janssen, Delabar, Lincoln, Happ, Loup, and Oliver (or Cecil if Oliver retires...man that makes me really hope the Jays give Oliver what he wants).

When did I say anything about a 9 man bullpen?
