There are some stupid reasons from stupid people.

Maddux and Randy Johnson should and will have a higher percentage.

If Trout only gets better after this year and plays for 17-20 years, I see no reason why anyone would vote no.

Babe Ruth was a drunk and a Wife Beater. Ty Cobb was the biggest Racist of them all..

yet, they are both in the HOF..

But he said the only modern day unanimous candidate is Mariano, which is simply not true.

There is one voter who says she purposefully never votes anyone in.

It's a subjective voting process and you can't please everyone all the time which puts some of these players on these writer's **** lists.

I think one day you might a get unanimous vote getter and to me that will end up being Mariano Rivera.

    But we'll have to see.

I'm just speculating really. I just said Trout's name because he had an incredible season this year and was the first person to come to mind. You could make the case for any player in the past who got voted no. Ruth, Mays, Ryan, etc...

How could someone explain themselves for saying that Babe Ruth does not belong in the Hall of Fame?
