Remember how in the first half we were 1 half a game behind the Nats, and also through June 8th, Ike was batting .158, the bullpen was pitching worse, Kirk hadn't totally imploded yet, Murph had not hit a home run yet until june 27th and was batting .268.
Ironic huh? You know as well as I do, just because the team is young and not very good on paper doesnt mean the world.
I fully expect FULL YEAR production to go up in the catcher position by a shitload, from Ike, Niewenhuis, Harvey, Johan, Gee, Duda, Murphy, Tejada, and Baxter. We're losign Dickey which sucks, a lot, but losing Dickey may lose us 6-8 wins directly but improving elsewhere just by so many young payers getting closer to their primes and having more experience, 74 wins should be VERY atainable unless w e"tank"
Mets have yet to sign a major league FA.
