i really only care that he is scoring efficiently. the numbers i look at with melo is how many points he gets on how many shots, then i look at his +- column. if he is scoring efficiently and he has a good +- compared with the team, then i am thrilled.
Most voters take pace into consideration when voting for MVP so I have to say no I mean he's numbers are gonna be lower just because we are one of the slower teams compared to Miami and the Thunder who are trying to run you out the gym!
I'm just thrilled that he's finally getting the national credit he deserves this year. I've always said (not on these boards) that a motivated Melo could rival LeBron and Durant as best player in the league.
