    Happy Holidays From The Mets

Nice video: Spotlights Johan Santana's no hitter, Ike Davis's 32-home run season, and David Wright's infield single that made him the all time Met hit leader.

Conspicuous in their absence of course is something only three Mets in history have achieved, as well as something that hasn't happened here since 1990:

A Cy Young Award and a 20-game winner.

It's as if they never happened. Oh well. No sense marketing what's no longer here I guess.

"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."

How easy they turn the page. They act like Dickey lied to them and left for more money or something. It shouldn't matter if the guy isn't on the club anymore especially considering it was their choice to trade him. They are still on their high horse about Dickey answering questions at that benefit? They really need to get over themselves. We've had an N.L. Batting Champion and an N.L. Cy Young Winner over the last two seasons and you would've thought it never happened.

It sucks that he won't be there at Citi to have the award presented to him in front of the Mets faithful.

Technically it's funny. Unfortunately, I LIKE and admire Mr. Dickey and am sad and sorry to see him go for a bag of magic beans.

    Oh well.

I loved that no-hitter. By far my favorite experience as a Mets fan.
