If the world had to go one way or another, wouldn't mind it being that way.
There are actually very very few people I would pay to go and see, and probably none on my own accord. Not even Metallica. I've listened to too many live performances and knowing that they can't match what they once were, I would just come out of the experience underwhelmed.
If a friend had tickets already and invited me to go, I would see a few bands. The contemporary bands I like are Of Monsters and Men and The Black Keys. I'd probably see Oasis if they were still touring. Love a lot of hip-hop and rap from the 80's through early 00's but I usually can't stand rap concerts.
I'd much rather go to a Jazz Club in Philly or NY
Metallica still brings it live. Last I saw them was in 09 though so maybe things changed for the worse since then
Yeah the most recent concert I saw was one in Nimes, France. Couple of the songs were solid, Fade to Black always being my favorite. It's mostly Hetfield's voice which makes me sad. Also, Lars drumming has gotten a lot more basic. I am not musically gifted in any sense, but it just seems a lot more watered down. Trujillo brings it on the bass, but his backup vocals are nothing compared to Newstead, which adds a lot to a live performance.
On Ebay I looked up twinkies and ding dongs to see if people are trying to capitalize off the closure of hostess (they are). When I searched for Ding Dongs the first thing I found was this as the title. The last sentence made me LOL
