IMO I think the sox need to go to ST and have a few relievers to fight for the closer job.
I know we trade away to get him but we didn't know Bailey would be out the year.
Sox need to do this incase something happens again in SP they have options they can turn to, whether its Wilson, Hanrahan or someone else. We don't know how Bailey is going to be at ST. When he returned didn't do well. So thats why the sox are looking at Hanrahan.
He'd be an improvement over what we have now for a closer. I say go for it.
Favourite Teams:
Boston Red Sox: 27-17
Indianapolis Colts: Decent draft, no new wide reciever though.
Detroit Pistons: Looking forward to the draft and whoever the new coach will be
Ottawa Senators: Down 2 to 1 to Pittsburgh, Game 4 on Wednesday Night, Game 5 on Friday Night and Game 6 on Sunday Night (If necessary)
Beautiful:
^ at any price? No thanks.
Melancon, and 2 of these 3: Pimentel, Steven Wright, Dan Butler for
Hanrahan and the worst guy on their 40 man roster.
in other words, not bloody much

Am told #Pirates now targeting #Dodgers SS Dee Gordon and #RedSox SS Jose Iglesias in Hanrahan trade talks now that Liriano is fold.
What do you think?
Vote for Pedro!
yeah Bailey is motivated. He has every reason to be. His job is on the line after spending 4/5 of 2012 on the DL (again). He average 35IP the last 3 seasons. His rope is getting shorter with the leash.
Tazawa pitch incredible and he would be my choice as replacement for Baily.
Not even worth Iglesias. Get out of here hes declining and a set up at best in the AL East.
To be honest, I am not a huge fan of trading another decent piece for a reliever, this approach usually never works out. What happens with Bailey? Maybe we could flip him to DET for Porcello. Or do you think they could co-exist? We'd have a gazillion of BP-options...Hanrahan, Bailey, Tazawa, Aceves, Melancon, Bard, Breslow, Carpenter, Morales, Mortensen, Miller, Uehara and Wilson + maybe Hill and Atchison
Really? How are Dee Gordon and Jose Iglesias even remotely close in value? lmao.. I'd give them Iglesias for Hanrahan. Hanrahan will have more of an impact as a MR/SU than Iglesias would.
lol, small kid got tripped by a tuba player
