Yeah I would trade him for a starting outfielder too, but if Parnell is involved in a trade, it's probably to a contending team. That team would rather surrender prospects than MLB players which would help that team win now.

Yeah, I agree. If Parnell wants a bigger contract then I would look to move him. But I still think we could do worse in the pen than Parnell going foward. WPA isn't a prediction stat, as I'm sure you know.

Wow. Parnell has a -5.55 WPA for his career. That blows. Get rid of him.

WPA is horribly biased towards closers. There's a reason nobody gives a **** about WPA.
