Randall Cobb All-Purpose Yardage Record Watch

So, I know it's a bit of a long shot, but Cobb is within striking distance of the all-purpose yardage record. It's going to take 2 back to back monster games from him, but he can do it.

Darren Sproles last year had 2,696 yards total which is first all-time.

Randall Cobb is currently at 2,241 yards which is 9 behind Ahman Greens 2,250 yards which is an all-time Packer record.

Cobb is currently averaging 63.7 yards a game receiving (but he's become a huge part of our offense more recently), 18.1 yards a game returning punts, and 68.8 yards a game returning kicks.

If he gets those numbers in back to back games he'll get 301.2 more yards taking his total to 2,542 (putting him at 4th all-time).

If someone wants to check my math, that would be great. Math was always a weak subject for me, but I think that's right. This is the site I used.

I know it's going to be tough for him to get, but it's certainly possible. Figured it's something to keep an eye on.

If not this year then he will get it soon. Although, i do think they might want to look at other options in the kick and punt return department. We can't afford him to get hurt returning kicks. He took am awkward hit on a punt return from the Bears and i was surprised to see him get up unhurt.

I think this may be his only shot at it. He's becoming so valuable to our offense they might take him off of kick returns or if Goodell is serious about his idea to do away with kick returns all together, that will make the record impossible to break. Hope that doesn't happen though.

That was youth and flexibility there that let him just get up after that hit. Anyone on the wrong side of 30 blows out one or more of their ACL and MCL's on that one.

    Cobb is absolutely amazing!
Him and Percy are on a level of their own with what they can do, IMO.

If only my Fantasy Football league added in KR and PR yds.

But kinda off topic, Is Greg Jennings gone after this season because of Cobb/James Jones play?

I could see him having a big game, maybe 300+ yards and breaking it against mn. That would be freakin sweet

I love watching Cobb. He is a big play waiting to happen anytime he touches the ball.

When Sproles did it I was told he was going to make the HOF.

I hope so. Then I can talk about him being a HOFer in the main.

All in all, if the Panthers are going to select a QB, Gabbert has to be the pick.
    People take this guy seriously?

I would like to see him return some kicks for TD's this year. Our return game has been a bit off this year it seems like.

It wouldn't do any good to return it for a touchdown because that idiot Bush would have a penalty on the play!

Does he even have a penalty all year?

Really? Bush is our best special teams player lol. I didn't realize he had that many penalties. Our return blocking just sucks imo.
