I dont mind this deal at all, I'm actually excited at the thought that we may get to some young guys contribute before the end of the year.

Can Jeter come back from a major injury at his age and still be effective?

Will Tex continue his 3 year trend of decline or will he be an actual decent middle of the order bat?

Will Granderson have closer to his MVP type 2011 season or will he repeat 2012?

Will Youkadoosh stay healthy? Will he hit better than .230?

Will Romine hit at all? Will he actually play a full season without his back giving out?

I think you are underestimating how questionable this lineup can be. I feel much more comfortable with the rotation.
I agree 100%. I'm MUCH more confident in our rotation than our offense. BTW, i thought we were supposed to be getting younger and athletic. So we've signed Pettitte, Mo, Kuroda, Youk, and Ichiro. Which one of those dudes is young?

Some people just need to stop complaining and find the positive. If your team was the Cubs, Royals, Marlins, Pirates, Red Soxs, Twins...... Then you have a gripe. Didnt they win the division? Didnt they made it to the ALCS?

Maybe we need more threads on trading for Felix, Stanton and whoever because we need a star in every position.....

I HATE when people do this. EVERYONE on EVERY team has questions that can be asked.

Will Pujols struggle again this season?
Will Colby Lewis come back from successful Tommy John Surgery?
Will RA Dickey still pitch effectively at age 38 in the AL East?
Will Lester get back to his old form?
Will Ellsbury stay healthy a full season?
Will I get laid this weekend?

Besides the last question, everything else is up in the air. Every team has questions. No reason to speculate.

I love when people come out with the whole "I guess we need a star at every position" line whenever someone questions the team.

Who here is asking for stars at every position? How about a player or two that is closer to 30 than retirement? How about a player or two that can help beyond this year so we aren't going through this nonsense next offseason again?

Its not like the team just planned the budget this offseason. They've known for a while now and have made no moves to actually set the team up for 2014.

Yeah, no doubt every team has questions. That doesn't mean the questions about our lineup and its age are any less serious. Its not like I'm picking stuff out of thin air about our lineup, its real questions based on age and performance these past couple years.

So you are saying you don't like your chances, then?
