Feel like this could just be Freddy Garcia and Andruw Jones all over again. I also kind of feel the same way about Ichiro even though I know most everyone else doesn't (and I hope I'm wrong).
It just seems like the Yankees get a decent stretch or a good season out of some of these 40 year old guys and then try to go to the well one too many times and bring them back again and they suck.
Seems like it happens far too much with this team.
I really really hope this doesn't turn out to be Andruw Jones 2.0.
I think Raul deserves a shot to be on the roster, as he single handedly performed miracles when our team sucked.

The more dudes on the team that voted for Jimmie Carter the better.

The lineup is not the issue....the rotation is......
Can CC stay healthy?
Can Kuroda continue his mastery?
Can Pettitte be effective?
Hughes and Nova????????
Those 5 are the keys to the 2013 Yankees success, not a lineup that will score 4 runs a game by just walking up to the plate.

The lineup has just as many questions as the rotation.
Can Ichiro be the Ichiro he was the last two months of the year or will he be the Ichiro that was horrendous for the 1.5+ years before?
Can Jeter come back from a major injury at his age and still be effective?
Will Tex continue his 3 year trend of decline or will he be an actual decent middle of the order bat?
Will Granderson have closer to his MVP type 2011 season or will he repeat 2012?
Will Youkadoosh stay healthy? Will he hit better than .230?
Will Romine hit at all? Will he actually play a full season without his back giving out?
I think you are underestimating how questionable this lineup can be. I feel much more comfortable with the rotation.
Not sure if your serious or not.
